Yuri and Arise stood in front of each other, eye to eye, and both with tremendous power. Yuri slowly lifted his right arm in front of him and summoned his blade that appeared in the innards of flames that surrounded Yuri’s palm. Arise risen his left hand up high and stricken it downwards, now with a cold steel blade in his possession. Rain began to drip from the dark ominous clouds one by one until each warrior felt the vibration from the rain drops hit their blades. Their mana collided and clashed with one another, creating bright static that lit the surrounding area, and the tension in the air began to condense. Both took their stance and steadied their mana, then as the flash of lightning hit the ground, both warriors raced towards each other and flung their swords that which crashed into another sending a wave of sparks.

               Each leaped back and clashed over and over again, in turn created more and more powerful waves of mana and sparks, so powerful, craters formed after each clash. Menacing mana at such a small confined area is a sight that no man wants to endure. It was like two demons, or even gods thrashing at the other monster. After each encounter, they threw various attacks at the other, lighting, ice, earth, and even Arise’s treacherous magma was used for assault, as if they were creating the earth’s most dangerous mini natural disasters, death was inevitable for either candidate. An on going wave of attacks and hurtles of elements, this was worst then any war. “ARISEEE!!!” “YURIII!!!” they both cried each others names out, and then in one more clash, they stood in front of each other with their weapons clenching together. Gods were looking into each other’s souls.

               The tension in the swords were increasing, this could be anyone’s game. Yuri was shouting out into battle cry and began to strike down on Arise blade, like he was hacking away at a wall, trying to get to his target. Arise was being pushed down with each blow, getting weaker and weaker until Yuri was about to deliver the last blow, then right before he does Arise delivers a blow of his own and stabbed through Yuri’s chest. Yuri was standing there, with a blade through his chest and blood dripping from it. His crest was penetrated as well. Arise was shaking timidly as he saw the tall beast bleeding to his death, he then pulled the sword out and kicked Yuri as hard as he can. Yuri was thrown back with Arise’s powerful kick, and fell to the ground while his blade flew into the air, and his cold fingers touched the ground his coffin will be.

               Yuri cough a few times, stood up immediately and fought to stay up, he called out a pillar of ice that soon formed into a huge ice warrior, “Arise!!! I will not lose to you!” The Ice warrior pushed its fist through the remnants of Yuri’s mana and crashed down on Arise. Lava began to flow from the ice monster’s fist, soon after magma erupted from the ground, destroying the massive monster, and like geysers, magma was arising up from the ground. Yuri started to run as far as he can then he used the Grasp to transport rapidly from the eruptions. Suddenly, long earth tentacles materialized out of the ground and lashed out at Yuri, he was badly beaten by few but he still lingered on his feet.

               Arise was still trying to recover from the chilling blow, but he still had the will to fight at his position. “No escape!!!” Arise yelled out sending a wave that affected the area around these two. Yuri could no longer stand, because he was now being lifted off his feet. “It’s the soul element, he took it from me? Damn.” Yuri cursed under his breath. Water commence to flow from Arise’s direction, as it starter to form a huge wave. “Shit!” Yuri struggled to move about in his area, and then he thought to him self, “The lightning! How did Zari did it?” He began to ponder on how he can move from being stricken by the immense wave, “That’s right, he used the electricity to charge against the earth’s polarity.” He focused the electricity to his feet and begun to levitate at his free will, so he flew into the sky and looked down on the battle field. “Arise, this is it!” Yuri rose his hand and charged it up with lighting, and fusing it with the dark element, creating a black light.

              He lunged his hand down to the battle field and released the fully charged Black Lightning, and at a great speed the lightning struck the water, thus he struck the entire valley. When the water cleared, Yuri came to see a colossal terrain shield Arise brought up. “!!!” Yuri was shocked, and as the shield slowly disappeared he saw his face, Arise’s evil grin. Yuri used to much mana and he lost ongoing blood, he fell back to the ground in one long, and hard collision. Yuri had no more mana to fight, he was out of juice, and could hardly move. Arise stood up, and began to laugh, “Hahaha!!! You we’re letting your guard down, as your hate began build up with each blow, and you even used the last bit of mana you had. And now, you lay there, dying.” Yuri was struggling to get back up, but he could barely stand. He began to hack up blood by the handful, “A…Arise…” Yuri started to walk towards his opponent and throw a fire ball, but he lost the will to walk and he fell straight on his face.

               Arise continue to chortle as he sees his long time friend and foe die there. “So you give up, Yuri Kaizuki? Crimson Child, King of the Magis, and Savior of humanity? No wait, I’m the savior! Hahaha!!!” Yuri was lying on the wet floor that was roofed with blood, he tried with all his might to look up and see the thing that was once a humane person, a friend. Arise began to walk over and picked him up by his throat, “Right now, you will succumb to darkness and hand me your elements!” Arise began to extract the elements from Yuri’s cold yet fighting spirit. “So long Yuri.” Arise slowly and surly was obtaining each other element Yuri had, and as he did, Yuri tried to reach into his pocket. What was in it? Earth’s last hope, the Lance. Yuri could not carry on with this small task and his body became limp and cold.

               With one stomp to the damp ground, Arise created a chasm, a dark abyss. “This is your exit, my friend.” Arise risen Yuri right on the cliff of the chasm and said softly, “I killed Kari.” Yuri opened his eyes to this news, and stared deeply into his past, seeing the face of his love, the woman which was murdered by Arise. Arise then loosened his grasp and let go of Yuri, and now Yuri falls endlessly into the chasm, into darkness. Falling faster and faster to hell, suddenly he slammed his head on a protruding pillar and as he ricochets off the pillar, he saw the face of his enemy, smiling with no remorse. Yuri clenched his teeth and fell to the very bottom, which was a large lake. He fell to the place where lost souls came to sink to the bottom of hell; they call it “The Garden of Eden”.

               Yuri fell into the lake and sank slowly, back first. He was facing the surface of the water as he sank. “What’s wrong boy? Had enough? Death caught up to ya, huh? You humans are pathetic.” Yuri’s crest pulsated, and the water moved to its rhythm. “Your father told me to watch over you, and look what happens. Couldn’t even finish a fight, is that how you were raised?” Yuri’s crest began to recover itself and the armor began to turn red and spread through out Yuri’s remains. Arise chuckled softly, then merged into a maniacal laugh. “I have won! I’ve had beaten the gods!” “No…” Arise paused and jolted around to see Yuri. “If I’d let a punk like you win to this little guy, well, I guess Crimson’s gonna have my head.” Syneaux spoke. “Who…who are you?” the newly joined Syneaux and Yuri said in unison, “I am the beginning!”
